Description

• Self-Fusing Construction: Fuses to itself to create a solid, homogeneous, and void-free mass without the need for a sticky adhesive residue.
• Linerless Design: Eliminates the need for a separate liner, making it easier and faster to apply in tight spaces.
• Temperature Ratings: Rated for continuous operating temperatures up to 90°C (194°F) and short-term emergency overload temperatures up to 130°C (266°F).
• High Thermal Conductivity: Formulated to provide superior dissipation of heat generated by cable splices.
• Weather & UV Resistance: Provides an immediate moisture seal and is resistant to UV, weather, ozone, and corrosion.
• Stretching Properties: Physical and electrical properties remain unaffected by the degree of stretch (elongation at break up to 850%). 

• Primary Insulation: Used for splicing and terminating solid dielectric insulated cables rated through 69 kV.
• Stress Cones: Primary insulation for building stress cones on cables up to 35 kV.
• Environmental Sealing: Moisture-sealing electrical connections, motor leads, and bus bar insulation.
• Repair Work: Used for cable jacket repairs and providing mechanical padding for irregular shapes or sharp edges.
