• Blade Durability: The entire 1-1/4 inch wide blade is covered with a Mylar® polyester film to extend its life against abrasion and repeated use. Additionally, the first 6 inches of the blade (or 4.5 inches, depending on the source variant) feature a BladeArmor® coating for maximum durability at the hook, a common point of wear and tear.
• Extended Reach: This model offers an impressive blade standout of up to 14 feet (some sources indicate 11 feet), allowing for long distance measurements by a single person without the blade bending or collapsing.
• High-Impact Case: The tape measure is housed in a durable, high-impact ABS plastic case with a cushion grip built into the exterior for a comfortable, non-slip hold and enhanced drop protection.
• Easy Readability and Accuracy: It features large, easy-to-read numbers and standard stud markings at 16 inches and 19.2 inches to simplify framing jobs. It has a three-rivet, corrosion-resistant Tru-Zero® end hook designed for accurate inside and outside measurements.
