Description

• Shank Compatibility: This core bit features a versatile design compatible with both SDS-Max and Spline drive rotary hammers, the two-piece design requires a separate adapter shank for the desired system (e.g., a 12-inch Spline adapter shank or SDS-Max adapter shank from a manufacturer like Milwaukee).
• Material: The bit is constructed with a durable steel body and robust, wide carbide inserts/tips designed to withstand the impact of heavy-duty drilling and provide a long cutting life.
• Design: It features a thin wall design, which allows for less expensive drilling in newer concrete and/or with smaller hammers, focusing on cutting the outer edge of the hole (a kerf only). The inside core must be removed manually by the operator to allow for deeper drilling.
• Diameter: The cutting diameter is 6 inches.
• Usable Depth: The typical usable cutting depth for these thin wall bits is around 2-13/16 inches (approximately 2.81 inches). Deeper holes can be achieved using extensions, which are sold separately.
• Included Accessories: The core bit body typically includes a guide plate and centering pin, which are recommended for accurate positioning and starting of holes 1-1/4 inches and larger.
